I keep changing my website design over a period of time, and as my schedule allow me to. I have experience on various content management systems including Live link WCM, Song Bird, Team Site, Web Sphere, Open share etc.
I am currently pursuing my Final year of Graduation in Bachelor’s of Commerce in Management which I hope to clear in June, 2009.
I have HTML & CSS experience of 5 years, and equal length of experience for web administration and content management. My first break in Information Technology industry came from Y on Earth Interactive, where it helped me gain immense management and technical information. It also provided me with an opportunity very few people would get at the age of 18.
Working for big names like Air India, Shaw Wallace and HLL thought me the roots of Brand management and ideas. Working with senior and juniors alike gave me immense visualization skills and managing client accounts at times gave my communication skills a great boost.
After being a Y on Earthling for a year, I decided to move on and got an opportunity to work on site with this large MNC Bank via a company called Landmark Solutions. For the first time, I was working with people of foreign origin which gave me immense knowledge in dealing with a vast origin of people.
Here, I got to learn more about XHTML and W3C Validation of HTML, XHTML and CSS. Importance of accessibility and accordance to various laws of different countries proved important.
I had to work on two different environments, a static site and a site managed by LiveLink WCM. Got to learn new things and added more feathers in my so called CMS cap.
Also, need to mention a few good fellows from Corporate communications who helped me improve by new challenges thrown on my way!
